Antique English Round Top Weeel Barometer by Pensa

Rare form antique English round top wheel barometer signed Pensa, London circa 1830. Thermometer is placed onto the main 10" dial behind a convex glass. Nicholas Goodison, author of English Barometers 1680 - 1860, suggests "this was done to show off the fine figure of the veneer." Measures approx 38" by 12" wide. Excellent working and overall condition. As this contains mercury, local pickup is prefered. Otherwise, we will ship with mercury removed.
