Weather GlassThe Weather Glass, also know as "Thunder Glasses" or "Storm Glasses", is a water barometer used since the 17th century to demonstrate variations in atmospheric pressure quickly and reliably. A weatherglass with low water in the spout indicates high pressure and fair weather, while rising water in the spout (and sometimes spilling over) warns of declining weather.
