The Precision Laboratory Barometer by The Weather Store features a highly accurate hybrid digital/analog movement boasting a certified accuracy of ±0.5 millibars. We designed this barometer for use in schools, labs, hospitals, or any other environment where there is a need for a metric scale showing both mmhg and mbar/hPa units.
The hybrid movement uses a highly accurate electronic sensor and microstepping motor to work in conjunction to show barometric pressure in a traditional analog display. This movement contains no mercury, is not affected by temperature, and is easily calibrated for any altitude.
