| | | The wireless Mystic is a digital thermometer & hygrometer. No cables makes it easier than ever to bring the weather story into your home.
This wireless version of our popular Mystic instrument operates at a powerful 900mhz which allows for up to 300ft transmission distance in typical residential installations. When outdoor temperatures change, Mystic receives updates every 2 seconds. The wireless temperature transmitter operates for up to 18 months on 2 AA batteries (included).
Mystic provides a digital display of both barometer pressure and temperature in four different modes: Present, High, Low, and Rate of Change for barometric pressure, which shows the amount of change in inches per hour. When connected to a Wireless Merlin, the Wind Chill setting will show the effect of wind speed on temperature.

- 900mhz transmitter/temperature sensor, AC adaptor (for indicator) and installation hardware. A single 900mhz Wireless Receiver (sold separately) is required to operate this system.

One 900mhz receiver is required at each wireless instrument location.
A single receiver can collect transmissions from as many transmitters as your system includes. That is, one receiver will serve all wind, temperature and rainfall transmitters within a 300ft radius.
If you wish to install instruments in different rooms, you will need one receiver for each location.
The wireless receiver should be located in the wall behind the instrument display, and powered by any of the AC adaptors used to power a wireless instrument.
