Features a 250-degree pivot and jewel movement, allowing for minimal friction and outstanding accuracy-providing excellent performance from very low to very high wind speeds. Wind speeds up to120 MPH or 104 knots are measured and displayed on an easy-to-read dual scale dial. The wind speed indicator comes complete with a generator wind cup assembly, 50 feet of wire, and a 10-inch mast. Downeaster's gust option utilizes a sophisticated electronic memory that stores the highest gust. The wind speed indicator normally indicates actual wind speed; with a simple push of the button the gust gauge moves the needle to indicate the peak velocity that occurred during a determined elapsed amount of time. In addition to the standard wind speed indicator, this option is equipped with reset button, battery backup, AC power supply, and proper connections.
